Long Answer:

            Anthropogenic Global Warming is a lie created by Liberals and Environmentalists to gain wealth and power.  It does not exist; the Earth’s temperature has been fluctuating in cyclical patterns since Creation.  Global Warming is simply the latest falsehood in a long line Environmentalist Fabrications, designed solely to wrest money and power from the hands of the ignorant.  
            Unlike its failed/forgotten predecessors (Holes in the Ozone Layer, Acid Rain, Global Cooling, DDT, and a whole host of other “imminent threats”), this particular piece of subterfuge should be of grave concern to all Americans because it has slowly evolved into a Religion (Complete with Sins, Commandments, Tithing, Absolution, and, of course, an Apocalypse).  While the “High Priests” fly around the Globe selling Indulgences in the form of “Carbon Credits”, the lowly practitioners wrack themselves with guilt over the size of their “Carbon Footprints”.  Atonement for this “Sin” can only be achieved by “Going Green”, which generally correlates to purchasing inferior, or even dangerous goods/services for exorbitant prices (“Green” Light Bulbs contain Mercury, an element linked to a whole host of ailments).    

Unfortunately, this situation is only exacerbated by the fact that the “Leadership” of both Parties has now donned the “Zealot's Robes”.  Our two presidential candidates both concur that Man Made Global Warming is an undeniable threat to humanity, that America is the root of this “Global Catastrophe”, and as such, that the American people/companies should be forced to relegate our lifestyles, proffer our Freedom to the United Nations, and subvert our economy to atone for our “Sin”.  This is unacceptable.

Too many so-called Republicans, including the once-conservative Newt Gengrich, have abandoned the argument against Global Warming.  Instead of fighting the entire premise of Global Warming, Republicans seem all too happy to acquiesce to the Left by acknowledging the Lie.  They hope that by embracing the “truth”, they can impose less sever policies, and in this manner, to stifle the advance of Liberal Legislation.  They are wrong.

One does not win by yielding to the enemy.  If your opponent tries to drive you ten yards back, but only manages five – You Did Not Win – You Just Lost Five Yards!  Unfortunately, this current crop of Republicans have been allowing Liberals to drag Our Country (and Our Party) toward the Left, all whilst cheering and applauding themselves for making the transition happen slower.  This is also unacceptable.

We must not simply stall legislation – we must combat the Lies themselves.  We must no longer simply offer less-damaging proposals – we must expunge the Legislation currently on the books.  The Democrats and Republicans, with the support of both Presidential candidates, want to enact the Kyoto Protocol, impose Emission Caps, regulate Fuel Standards, and compel a plethora of other Sanctions to curtail Global Warming.  This will eviscerate our Economy and bludgeon Our Freedom.  We cannot allow this to happen.  We must fight the Lie that is Global Warming with Truth and Elucidation.

Reagan had Communism - We have Environmentalism - And as always, it will be the Strength of the American People that defeats this evil.
