How Will Andrew Clack Vote in the Presidential Election?

Recently I have been inundated with emails, inquiring about how I intend to vote in the upcoming presidential election.  One such email came from a Mrs. Marie here in the Fifth District.  I have decided to use her email as an example, and to finally answer the pertinent question.  The following is a copy of the recent exchange:

I would like to know who you are supporting for President in the presidential election in November.  You said who you are not supporting but not who you are supporting.  This is very important.

God bless.

Marie

Mrs. Marie,

I will be voting against Obama by pulling the lever for McCain.  I do not support McCain, or his Liberal Dogma; however, failing to vote, or voting for a third party is a de facto vote for Obama.  I rarely make public statements about how I intend to vote simply because of my animus for McCain, but come Election Day, I will hold my nose and check his box.

There was a time when I thought that it would be best for Conservatives to teach the Republican Party a lesson by not participating in this election, but after Barack became the nominee, and his Socialist bent was made manifest, I realized that our country could not suffer an Obama Presidency.  Although McCain is one of the worst presidential candidates ever proffered to the American People, he will not be nearly as antithetical to our Nation’s best interests as will Obama.

The fact that our own party would abuse conservatives and conservatisms by giving us a liberal like McCain is the main reason that I am running for political office.  I could no longer sit on the sideline watching faux Republicans destroy my Party.  In the war against Liberalism, there have been, and will be many casualties (McCain is one such wound), but rest easy, Mrs. Marie.  We are Americans – and we have never acquiesced.  We can defeat Liberalism, because we must.

I thank you for your letter.  Please remember to vote in the Republican Primary this September 6th.  Feel free to write again if you have any more questions.  Good Day and God Bless.

Sincerely,

Andrew Clack
