The most important thing you can do right now to help out is tell as many people as you can about Andrew's candidacy.
When you talk to people about voting for Andrew, there are two very important things they need to know.

First, the Republican primary will be in Septemeber. In years past, Louisiana would allow several people from each party to be on the ballot in November, and the top two would go to a run-off election in December. It is important for people to know that there will be only one Republican on the ballot in November. If Andrew is to be our candidate, he must first win the primary on September, 06 2008.

Second, voters must be registered as Republicans to vote in the primary. There is still time for people to switch their party affiliation before the primary. They must register as a Republican by August, 08 2008 to be able to vote in September.

We can do this, but we must convince Republican voters that they have a candidate worth voting for.

In terms of size, this is the largest district in the state, covering 22 parishes. It is important that we have groups throughout every part of the district working for Andrew. We have just added a forum to the website where you can find other volunteers in your parish. Once you have found volunteers in your area, you can work together to think of innovative ways to go out into the community and tell people about the campaign. It is grassroots conservatives that will give us what we need to begin taking back the Republican Party.
